Tisiphone
Elitist Redheaded Trollop
...with Clive Owen and Helen Mirran.
First of all, I don't know how or when, but I will have my way with the scrumptious Clive before the world ends. Hell, all he has to do is talk to me like he did Natalie Portman in "Closer." Oh yeah...
Okay, now that I'm all hot, on to the movie itself.
Based on actual events about a group of prisoners who enter the prestigious Hampton Court Flower show, it did have a tendency to overomanticize, but didn't come off as cheezy. Clive Owen really gets to let his humorous side out, which I didn't even know he had. Extremely funny (in a Brit way) and I give it two green thumbs up.
Over the Edge with Cillian Murphy and Stephen Rae. A young man who just lost his father tries to kill himself, and ends up in a mental hospital with other suicide attemptees. Although Cillian and Stephen were great, Jonathan Jackson (who some of you might know from The Deep End of the Ocean or when he was on General Hospital) can't give a convincing Irish accent to save his life. His voice is too high, and everytime he opened his mouth to speak, I cringed. Great soundtrack, though.
