OK. Anyone else old enough to remember the 1970s fad for big plastic piggy banks? I had one that was a beagle and one of my cousins had one that was a great white shark (this was when "Jaws" created the term "summer blockbuster").
I dunno if I mentioned it here, but I finally filled up the "Snoopy" bank. We're talking a cartoon dog, up on its haunches, about 16" tall and 7" across at its widest point. Because quarters are useful for laundry, car washes, and parking meters, it held mostly pennies, nickels, and dimes. Anyone want to guess what something like that will weigh? Or how much it will turn out to hold?
