Gun control is.....

SSgt_Sniper

Factional Warfare
.....a steady rest.

.....a hair trigger.

.....a ten-power scope.

Fellas, think of interesting ways to finish the sentence. Why? Something to do.

A hair trigger is, almost by its very definition, counter to the purpose of gun control -- even according to the term as you are using it here.

ahem. Fill in the blank at least once, TQ. And a hair trigger is helpful on a long gun, less time to think about what's about to happen and possibly cause yourself to flinch. It's all about hitting what you're aiming at.

Well, yeah, it is all about hitting what you're aiming at -- but don't you think knowing what you're aiming at before that hair trigger tilts is just kinda sorta marginally important?

If you've ever fired a gun, you'd know two things; one, your finger never gets anywhere NEAR the trigger until it's time to go to work, and two, you never chamber a round before it's time to go to work.

Thank you, have a nice day. :)

Thank you, Captain Obvious. :)

Of course, if you were really as seasoned a veteran as you sell yourself, you'd know that I'm only relaying the advisories handed down from the Murphy News Service. ;)

Ah, but you see, MNS is too busy fucking itself for me to give a damn:)

Hey, remember, it's all in good fun. Now, are you going to finish the damned sentence at least once?

I mean, I don't see a sentence there in need of a proper finish. But if you're asking us to add to your list, well, that I can do.

Gun control is...

...breath control.

...shooting with both eyes open.

...squeezing, not pulling, the trigger.

...spotting with binoculars -- or, better yet, a forward observer -- not with your scope.

...3 pounds of grey matter and 5 pounds of trigger pull.

...placing your brass.

ooh, those are some good ones too...... I'll give you some of these points things that Cait hit me with. Enjoy your 20,000 points. :)
