Hacker Threatens FBI Agent, gets Arrested.

A man once affiliated with the radical hacktivist group Anonymous has been arrested for threatening a federal agent, reports tech news site Ars Technica. Barrett Brown of suburban Dallas was picked up the Feds just hours after posting a video on YouTube in which he lets loose on the FBI, berating one agent in particular named Robert Smith. Brown accuses Smith of harassing his mother, harrassment that allegedly involved slapping her with obstruction of justice charges for helping to hide Brown's laptop. Brown says the charges against his mother are "fucking insane," and stresses that she's had nothing to do with helping Brown engage in any of the activities that have attracted the wrath of authorities. He lets loose on Smith in no uncertain terms: "My fucking mom is now being threatened by a chickenshit little faggot cock sucker, little FBI agent Robert Smith." At one point Brown says that "Smith's life is over," but hedges the statement by claiming, "When I say his life is over, I'm not saying I'm going to kill him, but I am going to ruin his life and look into his fucking kids." According to Wired, the FBI offered no official comment regarding Brown's arrest.
