Sure why not?!? It was an ok birthday, we were away on a weekend family getaway to an indoor water park in the Poconos. So basically I paid too much to wade through knee-deep water and stand at the end of the kiddie slide while my son went down for like the ten billionth time. But that's ok. 
Aside from the ridiculous food prices ($9.50 for a burnt cheeseburger? Come on!) the only other complaint was (sorry Eggs) too many friggin' Noo Yawkers. I figured out last night that New Yorkers when they're in New York are perfectly fine and friendly. It's when they leave New York that they all act like completely obnoxious assholes. You know what's worse than a family of New Yorkers on vacation? A group of families of New Yorkers on vacation.
But I got a nice e-card and some gifts from my best friend, who thought of me even when she was recuperating from major surgery! Thanks, LG!
