On this day in 1966, the first episode of The Original Series aired. When did you see your first Star Trek episode?

I have never seen Star Trek. I never played the CCG either. Star Trek is for nerds!

sometime in the summer of the early '80's. mom would take us swimming at the local pool, pick up Dad at the bus stop then I'd watch TOS while Mom made dinner. #nostalgia

I can't even remember? I started watching TNG in the mid nineties. I remember watching some of the original movies when I was young but not really knowing what was happening.

TOS reruns would be on Channel 11 when I was a small child in the 70s. I was only mildly interested in them.

I got more into things with the movies, and then went full-geek-bozo when the TNG era shows started popping up like tribbles.

I remember watching TOS and TNG as a boy, but weirdly it wasn't until Voyager came out that I really got into it. Season 1 caught my interest, and then I sort of rediscovered all these old series and movies that were much better.

I used to get up late and catch my mom watching TOS reruns and she'd let me watch a little bit with her before making me go back to bed.

I think I liked TOS when I was a kid, then I have a vague memory of being ill and watching TNG.

The real time I got completely into it was DS9 if I am honest (or sometimes called DS( as I forget to take CAPS LOCK off)

I loved that shit and watched it nightly on some weird channel.

I remember in high school people made fun of me for liking Star Trek becuase it "looked fake" but I assured them it was TNG not the original series but also they liked Babylon 5 with it's SOPHISTICATED (boring) storytelling but that might have been different people.

I remember people in school saying stuff like "it's sooooo booooring I only watched five minutes of it EVER it was soooo booooring", but that was such a dumb complaint about 600 episodes of television that it didn't bother me much.
