Hope everyone has a splendid day and a splendid weekend! This will be my first Thanksgiving away from family. I have no idea what kind of food I will be eating tomorrow, I know I will be missing out on my favorite family dishes.
When I think about everything going on in the world today I feel blessed to have friends and family at all. I am even thankful for you guys!

We're not having the FOOD until later this evening and we got most of it put together and ready for the oven yesterday.

Thanksgiving is a day you try not to eat anything until it's time to EAT.

I'm especially thankful for the Black Friday deals that've helped me buy lots of Christmas presents today. Several have been for other people.
 
There are already stories of Black Friday violence. PEOPLE ARE FUCKING STRANGE. I never go out shopping on black Friday. I hate to shop anyway, but there's no deal good enough to get me in a store with a bunch of crazed bargain hunters.
 
I would like to think that there is higher tragedy than that!

We had a thanksgiving brunch at noon and then a thanksgiving feast at 4:30. But I worked it all of running and playing football and sledding down the hill with the avalanche dog. It was fun.
 
We usually have Thanksgiving food at about 1 or 2pm but my brother had to work so we didn't eat until about 4:30 which made if very difficult to sleep after being so STUFFED.

I have questions about the details, but then on second thought I didn't want to ask.....why did you almost cough up a lung? What happened? It sounds awful whatever it was!
