Hardware question:

Blindgroping

U mad 'bro?
the power coupling on my laptop is loose and now not acepting power from the adapter.

I have ordered an external batery charger, but I was wondering...

Can a laptop accept power through the USB port?

Like, hooking up between a desktop to my laptop?
or, I have a USB wall outlet adapter as well.

Thoughts?

No. USB is 5V, 500mA maximum and is DC so even if you identified the pins correctly it would not be enough to supply the laptop.

Your AC power connector is going to rectify the AC line voltage and bucked down by an AC/DC converter, so here your USB wall outlet is useless.
