Harold and Maude

Dual

RIP Karl 1991-2014
A self-absorbed, death-obsessed teen (Bud Cort) and a geriatric, high-on-life widow (Ruth Gordon) find love in this comical cult favorite. Hassled by his domineering mother (Vivian Pickles) to play the dating game, the morbid Harold would rather attend funerals, which is where he meets the feisty Maude (natch). The seemingly mismatched pair forms a bond that turns into a highly unconventional -- but ultimately satisfying -- romance.

plus, despite of the political incorrectness this opinion clearly breathes, still one of the best soundtracks ever.

Harold: You sure have a way with people.
Maude: Well, they're my species!

The Illuminati are around us night and day. FREEMASONS ARE IN MY LOFT AS I TYPE PLOTTING THE DOWNFALL OF NICARAGUA!

ROBERT ANTON WILSON, WHERE ARE YOU NOW IN THE HOUR OF GAGH'S NEED?

And didn't we agree on first liberating the Maori before you go and pay a visit to Mr. Ortega, hmm?? And I do hope you have at least offered those nice gentlemen some tea and scones, it can't be that comfortable to hide behind a Yucca all the time, now can it?

LOL! I actually didn't see that one coming!
Makes perfect sense, though, if you accept the fact that there would be a reason for one Yucca to hide behind another one. I mean, what would a Yucca be afraid of, anyway? Freemasons not being able to find the restrooms? A cat with claws that need to be sharpened? The threat of once again being used as a synonym for "urban legend", which is, in itself, a synonym for "lies adult people tell each other when they are bored"?
