Unluckiest Charm in the Box
I don't expect anyone to post any responses to this thread. This is simply meant to serve as an FYI.....
As most of you already know, when I served as a member of our great US Army, my M.O.S. (Military Occupational Specialty) was in Food Service (94 Bravo). " The Mighty Spoon Platoon". Over the years I have been looking everywhere from eBay to Craigslist for a list of all the old recipes we used to use to feed our beloved troops. Everywhere I looked, I found nothing.
Now today, I FINALLY struck gold by finding a website that has almost every recipe the military uses posted on line.
See here: http://www.quartermaster.army.mil/jccoe/publications/recipes/cover.pdf
Believe it or not, many of these recipes are quite good. They are very simple to follow and can be easily adjusted to your liking by adding whatever ingredients you may see fit. If you want to prepare meals at home and don't want to take the time to make anything thats time consuming, check these recipes out. Im sure you'll be very pleased with many of them
