Here's what the national anthem policy actually means.

The NFL owners approved a policy that could end player protests during the national anthem.

Any team personnel, including players, must "stand and show respect for the flag and the anthem".

How will "show respect" be defined?

Can players raise their fist?

Will there be anyway avenue to protest without discipline?

President Trump said:
I think that's is good. NFL 'doing the right thing' with anthem. You have to stand proudly for the national anthem. Or you shouldn't be playing. Maybe you shouldn't be in the country

^Two thumbs up President^ I agree.

Million dollar athletics should totally respect that.

Black thing or not. Stand up.

The NFL owners decided to fine NLF owners if players protest, with the fine money being split between the NFL owners at the end of the year. The mouth breathers are happy b/c they think the NFL owners are ‘doing something’ about the uppity negro problem.

Why is the NFL light-years behind the NBA on social justice front.

Because people are sick of politics being inserted into their entertainment; see: Solo's box office. Mattress-wearing knuckleheads aren't kept in the stadiums in fucking pens. They have time enough off the clock to protest whatever the fuck they want, and they can do it on their own time just like anybody else. Not in the workplace.

I honestly need y'all input on this. it's so damn stupid why million dollar athletics can't respect the USA.

stand up for our flag and the anthem. stand up dammit! stand your asses up.

Miami Dolphins Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson knell in protest during the National Anthem.

Players demonstrations took place during the anthem at several earlier preseason NFL games Thursday night.

Four Jacksonville Jaguars players were not on the field when the anthem was played before their home game against the New Orleans Saints.

At Baltimore, both teams (LA.Rams) stood, but most of the Ravens lined up shoulder to shoulder on the sideline, second-year linebacker Tim Williams stood alone in front of the bench with his back towards the field.

Baltimore won 33-7 over the LA.Rams

Show up at your workplace, on the clock, and protest on your employer's time. See how that works out.

I don't mean you, stoop anchor. They don't play the National Anthem in truck stop mens' rooms.
