I'm dubious. While I can see the desire to do a big-budget version of The Prisoner, I fear the result. McGoohan did a fine job with the original series, and despite the weirdness of the finale, I think that his message was well-crafted, and that it was appropriate for the late 1960s.
But, I was dubious about the new Battlestar: Galactica, and resisted it to the bitter end. Now, I must admit, it's one of the best shows currently being produced. I was also dubious about the BBC's remake of Randall and Hopkirk, and have enjoyed the few episodes BBC America has made available this side of the pond. So, I'll keep an open mind, but be ready for disappointment. Kind of like my mindset seeing Phantom Menace.
