bad dog
RIP DOG.
This guy makes his own power very cheap from parts you can find in junkyards, he has about $200 into it. This stuff has me thinking....

I looked at commercially made wind turbine systems but $28,000 is ridiculous, its realy not as complicated as people think.
I am going to scrounge up all the parts I can for free and build a portable prototype. I like to camp on the Columbia river where people sail and wind surf. The wind blows like crazy there. It would be cool to get free power to run some lights and a radio, maybe a small water pump during the day to water the grass and trees.
I looked ay wind maps for my area and they say my area is not not good but I have to call bullshit on that as there is 454 huge wind turbines thats one of the most powerful wind farms in the world just a few miles from my house. The map lies.
This other thing I find cool is a solar powered steam engine, its more of a toy but I see it has potential to help heat a house. I would use the steam engine to run a fan to draw hot air from around the boiler and push it into the house.

I dont care if I save 5%-10% on my electric and heating cost, Ill take that free energy.
