HELP!

You have your Spiderman fans, your Batman fans and your Superman fans.


I have since I was 5 years old been a HUGE Supes fan. Superman the Movie and Moonwalker were on 24/7 rotation and were my favourite videos when I was about seven.

Clearly, I never grew up.

Now the teaser trailer has tipped me totally overboard.

I have it on my harddrive in HD. then again I have a feature that lets me save HD MOV files automatically.

Check the IMDB page for Supes Returns and check the trailers. I'm sure there is a version that can be saved easier.


Big props for using the Marlon Brando voice over.
 
I refuse to install Quick Time, but I've been looking forward to it since it was announced.
 
I'm still puzzled as to how they have managed to to get more effects shots than both Retun of the King and Fellowship of the Ring COMBINED into this one movie.

It's going to be epic.
 
'kay, watched the teaser. There's very little you can tell from it as yet - most of what they show fits the '79 version, so I guess we'll just have to wait until a longer trailer becomes available.
 
Indeed. but the hype train has officially departed at full steam now. That teaser is kinda beyond coolness. Just for Marlon Brando and the original score.
 
It follows the events of superman 1 and 2, but ignores 3 and 4.

Superman returns to earth after 5 years away, Lois has a kid that roughly the same age a kid would be if Clark had fathered one with Lois when he was human.

And at some point Lex stabs superman with a kyptonite dagger.
 
I knew all that. It's a loose sequel to I & II.

He leaves Earth either because of the events with General Zod and co or because he finds a huge lump of Krypton flying through space and goes off to investigate or maybe both. It's not been confirmed.

To say this is my most anticipated movie of 2006 would be an understatment.
 
Lois from Smallville is far hotter than the Lois in this movie, but other than that it looks good and I look forward to seeing it on DVD.
