I am ugly today

I'd almost cry about it too.

I have had a cold for a week now and have fever blisters on my lip from running a high fever a couple of days. Now they are the gooey, ooey, crusty mess fever blisters become when they start healing. My lip and chin are covered with them and they are grossing me out.

Then, I have a little bump under my eye. Went to the eyelid specialist the other day and he is going to excise and biopsy it this coming Wednesday.

Then, I've lost 30 pounds over the last 1-1/2 months and my clothes just fit weird.

And, on top of that, it seems I need to wear glasses most of the time now. I won't wear contacts. I've seen the diseases contacts can cause and I don't need any of that, thank you very much.

Dang. Maybe I will cry about it.

Send someone to buy u a shit load of L-Lysine and Zovirax; clean the blisters with salt water to remove allllll the hardened weeping stuff...and cake it with zovirax...they wont weep through it. Anywhere that weeping touches, will start a new one.
U wont feel like a leper once they are healing.

Have a cry, then make steak and salad.

Okay - had the bump under my eye excised and biopsied today. That hurt. Watching that blue flame/smoke rise up in front of my eye and smelling my skin burn wasn't good either. Now I have a boo boo under my eye and the remnants of fever blisters on my lip and chin. I'm supposed to meet up this weekend with the orphans I lived with more than 30 years ago and haven't seen since the 60s. Really, I'm not vain but this is just too much.

Think about construction workers, the kind you see out fixing roads with their tans, tight white t-shirts and faded jeans. Some parts of the country have a much better quality of construction worker.

;)
mm

*shudder* Eww, not the construction workers where I live! *shudder*

Hope you feel better soon. One day, you will look back on this and we will all have a good cry. . .laugh. . .both.

My new ones are really quite nice. I've just never thought of glasses as an accessory up until now. They were always something I wore once in a great while - like when I wanted to read a menu board at some fast food restaurant or read street signs.

Glasses are good.
I miss mine.

Being near-sighted in one eye and far-sighted in the other, glasses are really nice.
No health care for over three years means that I am making due in a non-perspective world.
Lucky depth perseption can be learned.

Put on yer glasses and be cute in them.

It is actually looking better today but I'm not real happy about how it is behaving overall. It should be gone by now. However, I saw my doctor Friday for other tests and she wasn't too concerned about my eye. It will be gone by the Christmas holidays when my visage appears in pictures everywhere. As long as it is gone by then, it'll be okay.

That's sweet of you to ask. Thanks!

Sounds like the gigantic zit I have on my chin. Ooey and gooey and really out of place.

Then, I have a little bump under my eye. Went to the eyelid specialist the other day and he is going to excise and biopsy it this coming Wednesday.

I've got a weak eyelid muscle. Every time I see a new doctor they look at me very carefully to see if I've had a stroke. I'm forced to say, "I'm fine, it's just a weak eyelid, haven't had time for surgery."

Then, I've lost 30 pounds over the last 1-1/2 months and my clothes just fit weird.

SHOPPIN' TRIIIIIIIP! WOOOOHOOOOOO!

I've worn contacts for 13 years and haven't had a problem even once. Soft, breathable lenses are the trick. I wear toric lenses and I fall asleep with them in all the time...BIG, HUGE NO, NO and still nothing, my eyes are perfectly healthy. See your eyecare professional.

Dang. Maybe I will cry about it.

Don't cry, the situation is very temporary.
