That sentence was spoken in a 9th grade World History class today, by a teacher, to his students, regarding Bin Laden and 9/11.

His exact words: "I can see why they did it. Not that it's a good thing, but Bin Laden was angry with America, so I understand why they would do it."

What. The. Fuck.

What's "leftist" about it? Just because you don't agree with the statement doesn't make it either "leftist" or untrue.

Do some research on the Reagan and Bush Sr. administrations as they relate to Bin Laden, the Afgan/Russian war and promises made by our government and then broken. The teachers comments are exact and right on. If not for those two administrations and their interaction and interference in that particular war, there in all probability would not have been a 9/11.
