I can't log onto the trekbbs

I haven't even breen on for a few days because I haven't gotten signed up with Xandoo yet and I let my phone connection end so I can't use dial up. It says I was banned becauswe of muliple accounts but the only account I might have was the one from last year when i had to log on and get help with my account because the password iwasn't working.

I'm not even sure if it is a ban or just a mistake. I don't use muliple accounts and not just because it's agaisnt rules but because I don't like pretending be other people. When I make a post I want people to know it is a Jayson post. Only thing I can think of is that even though I always use the same screenname of Jayson I sometimes use different accounts. For example I am using the libary computer right now.

their promotion system made me laugh. WOW amazing benefits.

After you have made a certain amount of posts, and been a member for a certain amount of time, you will receive some extra benefits. The promotion levels, and their benefits, are as follows:

Level 2
Requires: 14 days and 50 posts
Benefits: avatar allowed, private messaging (50 messages storage), can use FireFox 2/Internet Explorer 7 integrated search.

Level 3
Requires: 90 days and 500 posts
Benefits: upgrade to the Captains' Lounge, 100 private messages storage, can PM up to 5 people at a time.

Level 4
Requires: 180 days and 1000 posts
Benefits: upgrade to the Fleet Captains' Lounge, 500 private messages storage, can upload a profile picture.

Level 5
Requires: 365 days and 2000 posts
Benefits: upgrade to the Commodores' Lounge.

Level 6
Requires: 545 days and 4000 posts
Benefits: upgrade to the Rear Admirals' Lounge.

Level 7
Requires: 730 days and 8000 posts
Benefits: upgrade to the Vice Admirals' Lounge, can PM up to 10 people at a time.

Level 8
Requires: 1095 days and 16000 posts
Benefits: upgrade to the Admirals' Lounge.

To find out your post count and join date, please view your own profile. The system can take up to 60 minutes to update your usergroup. So please be patient if you are waiting to be promoted.

I think I've actually been banned, though probably my situation is a little more of a no-brainer.

After telling that cunt drip Dennis Bailey to go fuck himself and telling it like it is to those twats that "moderate" the Trek XI forum, I got a ten day ban. No problem, I deserved it, and I don't much care.

At the same time this is going on, my bride, who is just now deciding to get into using message boards after a seminar for work, registers as "Superwoman" and puts a dumbass sig saying "yes, my husband is Superman, he's a pain in the ass, he told me to put this," thinking it would be funny.

Today, she goes to log in and she's been permabanned.

I had to PM Bonnie here to clear the matter up. In the past, I have used duals there, but I honestly didn't this time, and BAM, there's a fucking permaban.

What can we do, Jay? Probably just forget the place. It's such a leftist, liberal, borderline fascist joint anyway, I don't know why I go back. The truth is, there are good guys there like Cary Brown, Spiff, and a few others, and I enjoy talking with them and other folks in General SF/F.

Oh well. Maybe it's time we both move on.

Oh, and hey Jay, you were one of the people who I enjoyed interacting with there as well.

If we're both permabanned, we need to find a new place. Maybe we can start trolling that homo Dennis Bailey's board?
