I had to go to the bank and deposit the check from my publisher instead. I'll go tomorrow and work on their damned computers, and if Park doesn't like it, he can... actually, there's NOT A DAMN THING he can do!

Cybercafe where the computers are humped all to hell with spyware and viruses 9/10ths of the time. I used to go there every day for about a year to use their computers, and mine was the ONLY one that worked consistently. Since I haven't used them for about 8 months now, there hasn't been even one that worked that well, up until the owner asked me to go in three days a week to keep them up. He's not paying nearly enough for my time, though, so I'm basically just going to go in whenever the hell I feel like it.

Pretty much. There are about 40 machines in there, and of those I'd say at least a dozen need full format/reinstall procedures done on them. Of the rest, about half are salvageable without any major operations, and the rest will need so much work I might as well just R & R them to save time. Unfortunately for the cheapskate owner, he's only offering $15 a day for my services, so he'll have to settle for these things being done when I good and goddamn well feel like going down there for a diversion.
