...do not subscribe to the elitist theory that TK has become obsolete.
Contrary to what others have up their ass about it, I consider TK that neighborhood bar you go to when you want to pound back a few with people who you are familiar with, and genuinely like.
It actually does piss me off a bit when some of those who were regulars here (and, indeed, some who have had forums here), act like they are too good for this place.
It's a fun board to shoot the shit every so often. The different personalities that manifest themselves here are fun, and I've grown fond of some of them.
Sour grapes about radio shows or the perceived lack of pseudo-intellectual discourse notwithstanding, I consider myself a TKer.
