I made the hanging frame from 3 10 foot 2X4's and some steel brackets from home depote. I pre drilled 2 more holes for the other two eye bolts.

I have 2 more comming in the mail for the cucumbers..

They are kind of cool, we shall see how they do after about 60 days.

My sister does that too. But she uses buckets. The green things look much nicer. :P
I can't remember why she said she did it that way tho. And omg thats a video not just a pic up there.

I remember why we do the upside down thing-its because when you do grow them in the ground, they need stakes and wire things to hold them up, so this way you just put it in a bucket or that thing bad dog has and thats it.

getting them off the ground also deters slugs, mice and other wild things from taking a chomp off yer lovely tomatoes....sorry to say, except for raccoons. raccoons want something, they generally get it.
no worries for you Yanks, you have guns and can shoot 'em!
yeah, I'm right here, PETA. come get me.

Let us know how the Topsy Turvy works out Bad Dog, BDM is obsessed with getting one, I want to make sure the damn thing really works though.

^ For some reason I don't think he plans to hang tomato's with it.

I can see the headline now.

'Woman fucked to death on balcony while hanging upside down. Sales of Topsy Turvy's increase, company spokespersons remain mysteriously silent'.

It works fine, it just needs plenty of sunlight.
