Years ago when I still lived with my mum I saw an advertising blimp come loose from a local garage and go straight up, being near an airport I rang 999 they asked what service I required I said I didn't really know, as the police probably wouldn't be able to help, once I explained the situation my part was over, and I never saw anything else.
The next day my college friend said he saw a jet fighter go shooting straight up into a cloud then a flash of light.
Just putting two and two together... Yeah I got that shot down, and it didn't take days.
