It's never a good thing, like Jennifer Love Hewitt in nothing but a red bow, or, Ed McMannon with a giant 1,000,000 check. It's always the police, or someone wanting crack.

Do you tip toe down the hall giggling to yourself and pretend you are not home? That's what I do. Works every time too...except if I laugh too loud. That just encourages the knocker to keep trying. [note to self: stiffle laughter with a pillow.]
