Unluckiest Charm in the Box
All my life I've been a Moderate fan of Conan the Barbarian. When the First motion picture starring Arnold Swartznagger came out, I couldn't wait to go see it. There was one fight scene in it where he (still being a slave and all) killed someone in pitfight deathmatch. I knew that he was going to kill this person, but what I didnt know, was that this person he fought...was a woman

Once he was freed, Conan ALWAYS hated women beaters. To him, women beaters were the lowest form of man there was and he usually disposed of them without mercy. I read from another source somewhere, that this woman he killed in this movie was a supposed to be a captured assasin that tried to kill a king. She was captured by his guards and later sold into slavery. From there she was forced to fight in an area facing everything from captured soldiers to wild animals. Eventually she lost her mind and went completely insane. Soon she found herself facing Conan. Conan really didnt want to fight her because even though he was a slave himself, he was still a proud cimmerian and it was against all belief that he as a warrior should fight a woman. When he tried to leave the arena, his captors forced him back in. The crowd started chanting and cheering while she lunged at him and slashed him good with a small knife. He still tried to avoid her until she slashed him again. (this time pretty good). Again she attacked him, this time aiming at his throat. Now he was in a situation where it was to either kill, or be killed. From there he had no other choice but to take her down and execute her as quickly and mercilessly as possible.
The only woman I'd ever known him to kill, was a witch that also tried to kill him. That was revealed in the movie, but I never knew he killed a woman in during a pitfight.
