Walk the line kicked ass in some aspects of it, but they kind of glossed over the worst parts of Johnny's binging days in order to make him more of a sympathetic wreck that June Carter has to save. Helluva good movie all the same, and the fact that they did their own singing was pretty fantastic too. Good effort by both stars, even with the harelip.
Good movie, but it took me awhile (about the 1st half of the flick) to get over that I was supposed to be watching "Johnny Cash" and not Joaquin P. By the end of the movie, though, yeah, I'd forgotten all about my hang-up.
