So I caved, a bit.

When Nick asked me to go ahead and come back, I thought maybe I should at least tell Elwood I'd come back if he unbanned me.

I told him that I had no intention of apologizing, ever, for what I did, and that if given the chance I would do it again as I didn't feel I did anything wrong.

I also told him that if he unbanned me, I would go ahead and post again.

So, we'll see I guess.

I'll still stay a fixture here, though, if he does let me in. It'll be a long time, if ever, before I really feel as comfortable posting at WF as I used to. For right now, I just like it here better.

So...does this make me a pussy? :unsure:
 
There are some posters I will miss interacting with, but for the most part, it's not worth the hassle to go back.

At least to me.
 
No. WF has been your BBS home for a long time. It's only natural that you felt badly being banned, despite your bravado. You have come to enjoy the comeraderie there, when breaks in the in-fighting allow it.

I hope you do get re-instated. I also hope you continue to post here.

Personally, I've been pretty tempted these last few days to have El lock up my account and walk away for good, but I know that eventually Mewa will post on of his usual not-so-subtle troll threads or I'll go and back to catch up with MoulinRouge and Perrsianmouse (both of whom I dragged over there after months of gushing about what a great place it was). Eventually, I'd like to see how Ted and Diacanu have changed their lives around for the better. I'm no big fan of either one, but I would be the first to give my sincerest congratulations for achieving whatever their RL goals are.

I had the same feeling with TBBS when I came to WF. I wasn't too happy with the moderation and some of the fuckers that ruined the place for everyone else, but I had a lot of friends there that kept me coming back. I still lurk there quite often.
 
Mostly, I just miss interacting with a few folk who will probably never post here, like Mewa or Marathon.
