I was briefly allowed to be happy yesterday

After nearly 12 years with the same company I finally got a job at a higher grade, gets home, starts celebrating, then twenty minutes later we get a phone call that my wife's granddad had died.

Grandparent deaths are difficult. I still miss my grandma

Shes holding up, we just told our boy after he finished school, didn't want him thinking about it all day today.
