See, this is the disparity I just don't comprehend. We encourage Israel to act like homicidal maniacs, but our government won't take the same measures on our behalf? WTF? very much! I mean, seriously, is a little consistency too much to ask for?

I never liked the idea of government aid given to them freeloaders. They collect WiC's in California that costs the state millions of dollars a year. They are like food stamps given by the state.
I hear the argument from some folks that we are "all" imigrants. Be that as it may, many of "our" ancestors came here LEGALLY, and worked our asses off ttrying to make an HONEST living, and being proud to be an American, and trying to make life better for their children. Such is not the case these days as it used to be.

Exactly. We are *not* "a nation of immigrants" if "immigrants" also now means people who break the law.
This is the same shit that disgusts/amuses me when people complain that we're trying to criminalize illegal immigration, or that we treat illegal immigrants like criminals. It IS a criminal act, and those who commit it ARE criminals.

^I agree. Every nation has their own rules about immigration. So does the U.S.. Yet, it's okay to break U.S. immigration rules. That's bull when I hear folks who are basically saying that. We have laws as to how to PROPERLY immigrate into this country, and if one chooses not to follow them, then they broke the law. When one breaks the law, they become a criminal. Period.
