in this thread i will prove aliens do exist.

my calculation predicts there could be as many as 36 intelligent alien civilizations in our galaxy.

it's obvious we're not alone. we can't be the only ones in the vast expanse of the cosmos ... right?

Peoples! how seriously should you take those recent reports of ufos? we’re not taking them seriously enough

alien dreams have always been powered by the desire for human importance in a vast, forgetful cosmos: we want to be seen so we know we exist.

what’s unusual about the alien fantasy is that, unlike religion, nationalism, or conspiracy theory, it doesn’t place humans at the center of a grand story. In fact, it displaces them.

are aliens real?.... you bet your sweet ass they are real, i got evidence....but right now, i got's to take a shit.

in the good old days, the arrival of ufos on the front page of america’s paper of record might have seemed like a loose-thread tear right through the fabric of reality the closest that secular, space-race america could have gotten to a second coming. two decades ago, or three, or six, we would’ve also felt we knew the script in advance, thanks to the endless variations pop culture had played for us already: civilizational conflicts to mirror the real-world ones americans had been imagining in terror since the beginning of the cold war.

mythology rules at a level of our social reality. i don’t think i even know what that means. i plan to take a glance at some of his other writings. jacques vallee is quite readable, if not quite fully believable, but an open mind is a beautiful thing, is it not?

You need to give credit to the people whose work you plagiarize, dipshit.

are we alone, in all that space? not likely. just do the numbers: several hundred billion stars in our galaxy, hundreds of billions of galaxies in the observable universe, and 150 planets spied already in the immediate neighborhood of the sun.

peoples! answer this and i will prove that you are wrong. do you believe god creaated the universe?

Well, Vallee's secondary thesis (after his primary one that, based on various things we know about physical laws, etc, and commonalities between accounts of so-called extraterrestrial encounters, it's far more likely that the visitations are coming from Earth, but extradimensionally) is that these encounters have been occurring since before recorded history and that they (or at least a subset of them) are part of an organized program that has influenced and continues to influence human history. That's a simpler restatement of the full quote, which runs:

"When I speak of a control system for planet earth, I do not want my words to be misunderstood: I do not mean that some higher order of beings has locked us inside the constraints of a space-bound jail, closely monitored by psychic entities we might call angels or demons. I do not propose to redefine God. What I do mean is that mythology rules at a level of our social reality over which normal political and intellectual action has no power."

during the past century, individuals, newspapers, and military agencies have recorded thousands of ufo incidents, giving rise to much speculation about flying saucers, visitors from other planets, and alien abductions. but the extraterrestrial phenomenon did not begin in the present era. the first case reported turns out to be in the 1500s b.c. in egypt.

peoples!, not only do aliens already walk amongst us but they are refusing to share their advanced technologies until we change our warring and polluting ways.

and.

why do only white people get abducted by aliens? in corn fields.

and.

forty million americans say they have seen or know someone who has seen an unidentified flying object. all of them reported by white peoples.
