Item 1) We now have a "two tier" justice system in the USA, tier one has protections for the accused, tier two has secret evidence, coerced testimony, military tribunals, and the ability to hold without charge. One can be shuttled into tier two by a presidential "designate" at any time.
This is done in the name of "safety".
Item 2) School Shooters. Deranged men who not only kill children (and usually themselves) but seem to be on the trend to molest them before killing them, adding to the horror factor.
No doubt this will call for an outcry against guns, removing weapons from the general populace.

Item 3) Communications monitoring is a fact (phone, Internet, etc).

Item 4) Certain industries are reaping record profits. Like...oh say...the OIL industry. Billions per quarter. Money is power.
Item 5) Congressional behavior. So one creep got caught...he obviously didn't expect to. When reported, he was covered for until it became blatantly obvious. He will be hung out to dry as a scapegoat...but how many others behave this way (Clinton...Cheney and Halliburton {not sexual, but might as well be}...etc). They are used to being above the law.
Item 6) Similar tactics by Corporate America. Raiding of trust and retirement funds (Enron and others), illegal surveillance (HP). High powered companies acting like governments.
Add it all up....the drones are about to loose their weapons (and do it in the name of safety), their rights, and the elite are no longer even trying to hide their behavior.
We are doomed. Not just TK....everyone.
