DON'T FUCK WITH MY TITLE BITCH
Thanks for calling me back here, Love Child. Online I've mostly been hanging out at Something Awful, it was funny because on one occasion I started posting and got pegged as a troll pretty quickly and banned but I wasn't trolling I think they just hated my writing style.
IRL my life has been great, nothing to write home about but solid and stable. Two kids, steady work.
In my head sometimes I get really depressed and went through a very rough patch in 21/22 but that has also stabilized.
I've been watching a lot of Star Trek, which is awesome. Right now I am watching all the Star Trek episodes in alphabetical order by the last letter in the title, and ranking them. I already watched thu alphabetical by the first letter of the title. After this I'll watch them in numerical order by dd-mm-yyy. Each watch thru takes/will take about 5 years. Because I only watch when I'm folding laundry or freezer cooking. The ranking can be complicated so I'm using a +/- system where each episode is compared to the one I watched immediately before and immediately after. The better episode gets a + and the worse episode gets a - so each episode will ultimately have either a ++, +-. -+, or --. After three iterations of this I'll have the episodes in one of a number of tiers:
++++++(6 pluses)
+-++++(5 pluses any order)
etc etc
And then I will have a smaller, more manageable group of episodes I can actually rank best to worst.
Of course, since these ranks are all comparative, the different tiers (6 pluses down to 6 minuses) will operate on a bell curve with tails that overlap the tails in the other tiers, but I'll work on those later. First step is to get the amount of stuff into more manageably-sized groupings (tiers).
I like Lower Decks okay but it generally doesn't hold up to legit Star Trek episodes which means it will probably mostly populate the lower tiers.
