I've seen proof that the "angry" posts at FlatEarth +the wikipedia article are FAKE!

Where's the Ezboard?
Shocking News from the Para PM Box !

It would seem that all those "angry" posts by guests surfing on to the FlatEarth board are FAKE. They are crafted forgeries made by current and former FlatEarth members. I've seen proof that atleast 75 to 80 percent of the posts disagreeing with the FlatEarth theory are completely made up. According to a former flatearth member, they started making up "angry" posts to generate interest in the site, and the tradition continues to this day.

Oh and that wikipedia article that list FlatEarth as a legit site ? Also crafted by a FlatEarth board member!

At last the truth comes out.

I really think this is pretty sorry. TK never had to "invent" its trolling adventures out of thin air.

In terms of trolling, FES >>> TK. FES has trolled hundreds with its site and article.

TK tossing a monkey wrench in its operation would bring it up a few notches.

Nah.. I don't know anymore than you do. I joined last year and have had great fun messing with the tards. I'm positive there are a few trolls who create duals and pretend to be angry, but I'm also positive many of them are real noobs who heard about the FES on TV or from wiki and come there to rant.

Do you know what Samuel Rowbotham's pseudonym was? :)

[Rowbotham, Samuel B.] Zetetic astronomy. A description of several experiments which prove that the surface of the sea is a perfect plane, and that the earth is not a globe. Being the substance of a paper read before the Royal Astronomical Society on the evening of Dec. 8, 1848. By ‘Parallax' [pseud.] Birmingham, W. Cornish, 1849. 16 p. illus.

No they haven't. They've only trolled YOU into believeing that.

The current members "invent" the "angry noobs" to create the illusion of an active and socially relevent site. But nothing could be further from the truth.

That may have been true at some point, but I don't think it's necessary anymore. People pass the link to FES around saying "OMG look at these idiots! They're just begging to be trolled" That's exactly how I heard about FES.. and it was from someone I know isn't in on it.

Hmm. Can't seem to find TK's wikipedia article. Here's some interesting info:

Wikipedia article traffic statistics:

Flat_earth_society has been viewed 12143 times in 2007/12
Flat_earth_society has been viewed 21929 times in 2008/01

20,000 on average.

They don't need angry noobs for publicity. And the ones they don't fake probably show up at their doorstep not knowing they've been taken in. They've fooled Wikipedia into believing they are a valid, non-troll group.

FES >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TK

Now, if you have proof and whatnot that could sabotage them and expose them, that'd be a good counter troll. It wouldn't be hard to tear down their page, and using an account named TrollKingdomDotCom would ensure proper credit is given.

EDIT: This wiki looks pretty convincing. A lot of names are being dropped that sound like actual professors and shit. Watch for facts mixed in with the shameless plug to their fantastic troll operation.

A wiki created and maintained by FlatEarth members themselves. Not some group of "fooled" people.

I've been told to check the wikipedia edit records. It seems that several IP addresses match up to a few well known FlatEarth posters.

It would seem that we have discovered the joke inside the joke. - Namely that the ones who really seem to be getting laughed at are the ones who think they're fighting pissed off noobs.

I'm amused that you're playing Devil's Advocate, Cassie, but I can understand why.

In other news, THE CAKE IS A LIE!!!

The Flat Earth Society is not in any way responsible for the failure of the French to repel the Germans at the Maginot Line during WWII. Nor is the Flat Earth Society responsible for the recent yeti sightings outside the Vatican, or for the unfortunate enslavement of the Nabisco Inc. factory employees by a rogue hamster insurrectionist group. Furthermore, we are not responsible for the loss of one or more of the following, which may possibly occur as the result of exposing one's self to the dogmatic and dangerously subversive statements made within: life, limb, vision, Francois Mitterand, hearing, taste, smell, touch, thumb, Aunt Mildred, citizenship, spleen, bedrock, cloves, I Love Lucy reruns, toaster, pine derby racer, toy duck, antelope, horseradish, prosthetic ankle, double-cheeseburger, tin foil, limestone, watermelon-scented air freshner, sanity, paprika, German to Pig Latin dictionary, dish towel, pet Chihuahua, pogo stick, Golf Digest subscription, floor tile, upper torso or halibut.

LMAO!!!

:)

This is from the wiki talk page.. too funny.

Mikkalai, when are you going to help rebuild my Ice Wall section that you destroyed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fatcud (talk • contribs) 20:45, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

YOu cannot add content to wikipedia without providinng references to reliable sources for verification, please see WP:CITE, WP:RS policies. 02:44, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Here is your evidence non believing wiki wankers = http://www.theflatearthsociety.org/forum// and http://theflatearthsociety.org/forum/index.php?topic=2620.0 and http://theflatearthsociety.org/forum/index.php?topic=17682.0

Now who looks stupid? I guess you guys do, for not looking on the Flat Earth Society forum like I told you. I can’t believe Mikkalai keeps deleting my posts purely out of spite. At least now everyone can see that I am right, and always have been. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fatcud (talk • contribs) 19:39, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Forums are not accepted as reliable sources, for the obvious reason that anybody can write anything in them. If these forum conversations are about a widely-known part of the Flat Earth Society canon, it should be easy enough to find FES literature that mentions it (or published, sceptical responses to it) instead. --McGeddon (talk) 12:18, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

WTF - You deleted the section AGAIN? Look, I can't find FES "literature" because there are no libraries or book shops near where I live. As most of you know I am disabled so finding information is a very tiring activity for me. Also I am unable to find sources conforming to your fastidious specifications because I am unable to look at a computer screen for long periods (doing so results in a pain in the back of my head). McGeddon - why don't you find some information on the Ice Wall? I would really appreciate it. Thx Bai xx —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fatcud (talk • contribs) 22:21, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

FES is lulzy.

I gave my account to one of my RL friends who wanted to rant at some idiots, and I don't remember the password for it.
