This is a truly sad statment made that shows just how underrated Thailand women are (through the eyes of westerners anyways)

I mainly blame the western media for this. Japan has been well known throughout the world for Glorifying its women through sexploitation, ranging anywhere from Hentai Anime to Hardline Porn. Chinese women have always been portrayed in the eyes of many westerners as being mysterious or exotic (which seems to be a real turn on to western men). Thailand is a country that the western media seems to have placed on the backburner right along with vietnamese, cambodians, phillipino's and many other asian nations, and all of its people are left to suffer for it! :mmph:
 
Your argument is these other countries are suffering because western men don't sexploit their women as much as the Japanese and Chinese women?

No..its just that she seem to feel that as a Thia woman, the western world sees her as being "inferior" or "less desirable" than Chinese and Japanese women, and therefore tends to treat them accordingly. If what she says is true, I blame the media for it! :(
 
I asked someone else about this too. They said that people in the west tend to see Thailand the way it does due to the "image" that was bestowed upon them back during the Vietman war. Thailand had a lot of red light districts back then where a lot of servicemen took leave for R&R to get just that.. "serviced". The cost for a hooker back then was next to nothing, and sadly this is something that created an image of Thailand that has stuck with it to this day.

I myself have never been to Thailand so I wouldn't know, but I also keep in mind that the person that told me this is one of the exact same people that tried telling me a few months ago, that all Japanese men treated their women like shit :mmph:

That is something I found to be rather "inaccurate" and was informed that if anything its the other way around over there in Japan!
 
The general stereotype as I see it that Thai girls aren't so much sexpots in deed as in appearance. Compared to many Chinese and Japanese girls they have wider hips and a little more bubble in the back. It's not just Thai girls though it's Indonesian girls in general, the just have a (well deserved) reputation for being petite and voluptuous, something known to enstiffen the dick, but even at that there's more going on than that isn't there. They have a certain quality about them that appeals to men, probably I feminiity don't you think? Give it some thought and I think you'll agree with me on that. So until then comes along to contradict that, I say we butt fuck them all and meet up at Starbucks for coffee sometime next week to compare notes.
 
It is a shame these women think of their worth only in terms of being sexually appealing to western males.

Hey, we "Western Males", especially the ones of European decent, are taking the blame for everything from global warming, to the "genocide" of various populations in the Americas, to slavery (all of which we "Western Males" are hardly the exclusive distributors of), SO we should at least get some compensation for being the "universal villain".

If women want validation from the most powerful, meanest, and successful group in recent history, then that's just smart, not a shame.
 
Someday I would like to go to the Far East to see these things for myself. (not to cheat or have an affair mind you), but just to see what life is really like over there.
 
It might surprise you. One of my best friends was born and raised in America by Chinese parents. She thought she was prepared when she went to China to teach English for a year. It was quite a culture shock just grocery shopping. While she was there she sent me a video clip of food at the market - it was nothing more than a torso of something but it was still moving.

A few of my buddies have been there too. One guy tells me that while in a restaurant, this was the very first time he saw someone order a Pizza with snake meat on it, then top it off with salad dressing before eating it. :eek:
 
I know. Suddenly all that femininity and delicateness just flew out the window. That woman sounds like a heartless shrew and her friends sound just as bad.
 
I found Japan civilized and safe. Most people dressed more formally than they do out here, the hospitality was fantastic. I found a lot of similarities between the Japanese and the French, with the most glaring difference being that the Japanese are more emotionally self-contained.

Food-wise, no issues. There were a surprising number of Italian places (although they didn't taste very authentic).
 
I've heard so many things about Japan both good and bad, that I can't really believe what I hear anymore. I would really like to go there and see it for myself some day!
