I hope after one of Chris Pratt's (trained?) raptors does something smart he pats it on the head and says "clever girl."

If I lived in that era, I would probably be more afraid of the insects than the lizards. Can you imagine sitting on a rock and have a Preying Mantis over 3 feet long come flying along and land on a tree right besides you

I know the genetically modified dinos are in the book, and the previous movies to some extent, but I'm a bit wary of this super dino they've come up with. I prefer the purity of dinosaurs that represent what the creatures were actually capable of (even if the names and such were altered to an extent). Will have to wait til we see it, but I just worry it'll be more scifi than anything we've seen so far.

Other than that it looks good. A bit of a rehash of the other ones, but in a good way. Will be great seeing the park properly open.

It would be good if right at the end, after everything had gone wrong again, it cut to the evil complex from the cabin in the woods, and they are all high fiving each other and finding it incredulous that people would keep coming back to an amusement park where people were frequently eaten.

There should be clones of all the characters from the original movie. And a creepy hologram of Richard Attenborough.

It's shaping up pretty well. I didn't like the idea of trained raptors initially, but I suppose it makes a certain amount of sense in the context of a sea world type place.

It's going to have to go up against the Oscar contender Jurassic City first!

I am powering through Parks and Recreation at the moment, which I am beyond late to the party on, but am really enjoying, so separating Chris Pratt from "Andy" is going to be difficult from here on out.

Also I'm now in love with Aubrey Plaza......I'm so predictable I annoy myself.

If you like Aubrey Plaza you could watch the movie 'Safety Not Guaranteed' from the same director as Jurassic World. She's been FCOTD a couple of times!

I will do just that!

Does anybody watch Parks and Rec around here? The first season (it's only 6 episodes) is so-so, but starting from season 2 when it figures out exactly what it wants to be it's quite excellent. Really good show.

Ron "fucking" Swanson.

I highly recommend it. Season 1 as I said is just okay but it picks up really quickly. I am loving it so far. Already most of the way through season 3.

What the fuck film were you watching to not see Ray Wise in big ass spider?

He was like the 2nd lead!
