Just goes to show it is all a matter of perspective

there are still plenty of em up here in nocal, they are a weird bunch
harmless though, maybe thats what these people were...

Oh, those two were not pot smoking Jesus freaks from the 60s. They were Lawrence Welk regulars. Mr. Welk was genuinely nice, I think, but the people on his show were either Stepford people or on experimental drugs. That chick had no idea what a toke was.
 
That was the 50's and 60's CKLT. Lawrence Welk was groping nurses in the 70's.
 
btw Brewer and Shipley wrote that song as a joke backstage between sets at some gig. Richard Nixon called them "miscreants" publicly after hearing it.
