Me too. Mom just went to the hospital a few minutes ago. Heart attack, most likely. She had chest pains on and off since Wednesday. So stubborn, refused to go to the hospital until it got bad enough this morning.

I'm ceasing "hostilities" for today and until she comes home from the hospital. Not looking for sympathy. If it makes you feel better you may continue to be mean and/or neg me. I am bowing out for now.
 
Let us know the results of the enzyme testing. Hopefully there'll be no heart muscle damage if it's just chest pains. If they suggest a catheterization, that'll be an excellent alternative to open heart surgery.

Hopefully everything will be cool. That shit is scary.
 
Update: Apparently my mom has a slow heartbeat and will be undergoing surgery for a pacemaker. She is being transferred from the hospital in Bennington to St Peter's in Albany. Don't know yet when the surgery will take place and how long she'll be in the hospital.

and keep her away from the microwave. They've really ramped up the new procedures for implanting those things, much less traumatic then before. You'll need to take extra special care of her now.

Plus you can wear her things while she's in the hospital :D

Thanks Ily. I'll have plenty of time to check in while she's in the hospital(except for the numerous trips to visit her there). I imagine less time to check in when she returns home and I have to spend even more time taking care of her.

Yeah good vibes is what she needs now, that's why I'm ceasing any negativity toward Seph and E indefinitely.

Its ok. One day she's talking about wanting to get out and drive her car and go shopping and the next she's talking about dying. It would be nice to have some consistency,
