Yep - Channel 5 are the ones who are shoving this idea that Katie has shown "a more human side" to the public. It wasn't apparent to the naked eye.

This whole season is a scam that some PR agency dreamed up.

Wahey! I still like Cheggers. When horrible people accuse someone nice of "sitting on the fence" what they always mean is "they don't agree with my horrible opinions!" He stood up to Hopkins impressively several times. The only way he went wrong was that he'd always forgive her the next day (or even apologise to her like he'd done something wrong when he hadn't) so it could make him look a bit weak. But he was my choice to win.
 
I'm just typing in this so I don't have to see "Perez Hilton" every time I visit the thread list.

(But I also agree with your points. It got really irritating after a while that people couldn't accept that he was a genuinely cheerful guy who didn't want the hassle of getting into unwinnable arguments all the time like the rest of them.)
 
The horrible people always accuse nice people of being "fake" and "fence sitters". The entire Rachel Rice series had that as its main theme!
