It's sad because he was cool and R2, but people that size very rarely make it to 83 so he did well.

He did do very well. And he was always very engaged with the fans, too. I mean, I've been to a lot of conventions over the years and it was pretty much guaranteed he'd be at all of them.

Not to (no pun intended) *belittle* the occasion, but if I were he, I'd have it in my will to have an R2D2 costume as my coffin. I mean I'd want pallbearers and for them to lower it into the grave in a dignified manner instead of just wheeling it to the side of the grave and then pushing it in, but how cool would it be to wait for the Final Judgement dressed as R2D2? Shit, I'm 5'10" and I may decide on that anyway.
