Newest board mishandling exposed.
Gonad wanted to register a dual at WF. I suggest "Disgruntled TKer" for the laughs. She changed her mind and didn't want to post with it.
So I did. She also registered a second dual. I suggest the name "Omega Weapon."
Disgruntled TKer was let in within 5 minutes, stamped and approved.
Omega Weapon, registered right after DTK, was eventually deleted once Nick saw what was going on. I use the term "saw" loosely because his blunder was legendary in terms of lulz.
After I first posted as DTK, he almost instantly posted "Hi Gonad." He continuously claimed he was 1,000,000,000% sure it was her. After his brain got its second wind and dose of oxygen, he further inspected the account and figgered out it was moi. He is now possible under the impression Gonad and I are the same person, and even claims our IPs match (How he could look at two different IPs and claim they match is BEYOND me.)
OW regged a few minutes after DTK. No one seemed to bat an eyelash at it, but they were apparently drooling for DTK.
Ever wonder why no fresh blood comes in? This is how your staff handles account registrations.
This episode has revealed a number of things:
1. The staff is ready and on call. If your account is not getting through, it's been handed over for further inspection or ignored entirely. Although how you can filter out normal-looking accounts with normal-looking e-mails and choose one over the other (*cough*DTK*cough*) is also beyond me.

The talk about a dual's entertainment value or lack thereof is a lie. The staff simply has it in for me, and now has it in for Gonad.
We are left with an interesting question. Why should the staff care whom Gonad makes accounts for? Does it confuse them? Why this level of control over the registration process? HMM.
Though, at the end of the day, what we are left with is always what we're left with: The staff doing its best to manipulate the rules in order to save itself a headache. Or minor annoyance. Some "hard decisions," huh, Nick?
