Boobie inspector
I don't know if any of you have seen this? I didn't have high hopes as I am a big fan of the films, but this won me over from the first episode.
Its the same basic premise, Riggs is ex special forces, Murturg is 50, but this Murturg is not close to retirement, and isn't too old for this shit, and his wife Trish has more to do than be a bad cook and get kidnapped.
Riggs is a much mire subtle character here, his back story benefits from being told over two years instead of five minutes.
The other characters are more than the cyphers they were in the film, the chief isn't a stereotypical shouty guy, he is calm and collected, and you are about six episodes in before they just casually slip in that he is gay.
The female psychologist is not played for jokes, but is an important part of the show that gives more of an insight into Riggs.
The action is good for a TV budget, and they do homage scenes from the films, and they even have Leo Getz now and again.
I highly recommend it.
