Life isn't a "support system" for art.

It's the other way around. From a drummers perspective for example, the practice is usually alone, the performance in a place where you can see everyone, but really aren't seen.

It's the "seen" part of art that is interesting. I'm always amazed to discover this "fresh new" thing, and even more surprised and pleased to discover that the artist has been living that fresh new thing their whole lives.

I like that. There's art in everything.
