Logitech non moving mouse-anyone have one of these?

Mirah

I love you
We just got one, I am still getting used to it.
It kind of sucks.
It stays in one place, and you use your thumb on a ball for the curser, there is a scroll button too. It is supposed to be, and I don't know how to spell this-but erognomicly correct-or helpful-but my thumb hurts after using this!

If you like Logitch mouses get an optical mouse. You'll like the improvement. As far as eronomics go, I find that using a mouse pad with the little 1/2 inch bench to rest your wrist on help immensely.

Get an infra-red mouse, or whatever the fuck they are. Facilitates killing in many a video game.

Well this is the mouse my husband bought us-I don't plan on having two mice! :D
I just have to get used to it I suppose.
But it isn't fun imo.
And the word I meant-was nevermind. But thanks.

Laser is even better -- but I'd recommend a Logitech laser mouse over a Microsoft one -- the feet on Microsoft's mouse are some kind of either soft plastic or rubber, which makes it extremely UN-smooth, thus bad for fragging -- at least, without aftermarket teflon feet.

Logitech trackball mouse. Worst piece of shit ever created.

Limited intellect? You're really one to talk Mr. Pot.

Actully, I own a G7 gaming mouse.

Wireless, Battery powered, Sensitivity changer on the mouse, about 2000 DPI. Best $45 I ever spent.

^^Yep. I got the G5, on account of when I had the IntelliPoint Wireless 6000 I couldn't get used to a mouse that didn't have that "anchored" feel to it, but essentially the G5 and the G7 are identical with the exception of that feature -- and I loooooooooooves mah G5. :)

EDIT: Of course, the G7 might be different if, like the G5, it comes with the weights you can slide in the tray on the bottom. If you could make a G7 nice and heavy, you might not even notice the lack of a tether.

I have one of those that's probably an earlier version. There's a thumb button and the marble goes all the way through the case of the thing, so you can thumb or finger it...(wait, that sounded dirty). It's not bad.

I only use it on an ancient laptop once in awhile, though, so for anything other than a pointing device it'd probably be fairly useless.
