It's not as good as the first, but it really kicks in in the second half.

Brosnan looks old as hell, but at least they confront that in the film, with hm getting out of breath going up steps.

If you liked the first one you will like this too, and if you hated the first one, it's probably not for you.

But damn Lily James has a nice bum.
 
I wanted to hate the first one and I ended up not hating it.

But I'm sure I will pick this one apart a lot more, where I let a lot of things slide the first time.
 
Yeah, I really wish they had tried to make the young actors look like the flashback scene in the first one.

But I can understand why they didn't.

Besides if I can live with three different times Rachel and Chandler had their first meeting, I can handwave this stuff away too.
 
So there's a young version of a character played by Stellan Skarsgard and they DIDN'T get one of this many sons to play him?
 
I don't know why I'm suddenly interested in Mamma Mia casting, but the internet says someone named Josh Dylan played the young version of his character.
