So I was just going to wait until it was on Channel 4 since it's just SHIELD and I don't mind, but 4 still haven't announced when it was start and Hayley Atwell's in the premiere, so that makes me want to download it I guess.

(It starts tonight.)

The premiere had good stuff and stupid stuff.

Stupid stuff-

Why the fuck would a former SHIELD agent run right to the big bad artifact thingy, cut the box open with a torch, and then grab it with her bare hands? LUCY LAWLESS YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE SMARTER THAN THAT. :rwmad: I think they wrote this bit rather lazily, there must have been a way to get her to touch the thing without being so stupid about it.

The military dude (whatshisname from Heroes) has terrible instincts. I know irl that sometimes dumb people move up the chain, but usually they don't get all the way up. They are somewhere they can't do much damage. Unless he's Hydra, I don't understand why he is so dead set against Coulson.

GOOD STUFF-

Aww, poor Fitz :( but where is Simmons?
 
It was good on the SHIELD scale...

Good stuff: The villains of the week have been lame in the past, but The Absorbing Man was done really well. The effects looked good and I liked how he got sexual pleasure from touching things.

The "the person isn't really there!" twist is done in every tv show but it was pretty good here. I guess Simmons is in England (Coulson mentioned having allies there.)

Skye looked hot with her new hair.

Ward is still evil and not being redeemed (yet anyway.)

BAD STUFF: Coulson is still kind of dull. He walked into rooms a lot to look dramatic.

Too many new Agents introduced so it was hard to care about them. Lucy Lawless died already?

What if it's on at 6pm and heavily edited and Coulson's voice is dubbed by Phil Mitchell from Eastenders for some reason?
 
GOOD EPISODE. Poor Fitz, at least he has someone to talk to now. Skye's daddy! Also now we know where Simmons is, but I bet it's not what it seems.
 
I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD EPISODE. Elizabeth Henstridge is very pretty.

It was kind of silly when Tripp was just standing around with Coulson instead of actually being on the mission where he would have been useful.
 
GOOD EPISODE AGAIN. The fight with the two Mays was well done. Also breasts.

I hope Head Simmons is done now and we get more Real Simmons.
 
Yeah, I'm ready for Simmons to come back. I LIKED IT TOO. The May vs May fight was really good.
 
Argg, dont tell me it started up again while I was away!

Probably already missed the repeat too.
