DON'T FUCK WITH MY TITLE BITCH
Does everyone remember when Yo.2 bumped that T'Bonz post where the post stated that TBBS uses spyware and Number_6 went to TBBS and called her on it and T'Bonz immediately permabanned Number_6 and Yo.2 for "hacking her TK account" and Gagh went to bat over there for Number_6 while Asyncritus went completely nuts and started raving about how Number_6 had it a long time coming by constantly threatening T'Bonz and other loony shit?

And then T'Bonz realized Gagh (and TK admins?) was/were right and it was a leftover post/thread from the "Admin For a Day" forum that got edited and was moved to the DayCare during one of the many forum re-shuffles?

And the reason the post fooled everybody was because we thought it was recent; Yo.2 bumped it on the 24th (guess) and it was dated the same month for the 23rd (or whatever the day before was) and it was that that clued in some people; it said "Posted on Month day, year" instead of "Posted Yesterday."

I remember. And it was Number_6, not the poseur calling himself Number_Six.

That was an interesting little ordeal. Bonzie's still talking to me, so I guess all's well.

And, once more, I had nothing to do with it besides getting taken in by Yo's bump. I thought it was a recent post.
 
WTF was up with Asyncritus? I liked him up until then. Now I dislike him; and it has almost everything to do with that incident.

There's a question for the ages. He and I had gotten along quite nicely up to then, what with our politics being similar in many respects, and both of us having lived through the days when TNZ was modded almost exclusively by thin-skinned lefties.

Something happened in chat or elsewhere that changed all of that. I'm not sure if it was a bid by Asyncritus to get back on the TrekBBS staff, or something else, but that really revealed to me, at least, what a fuckbag he is.
 
It was big news for about 36 hours. It was really quite fanastic. I did nothing, T'Bonz permabanned me, and then backed herself into a position where she looked foolish and had to back down.

And all it took from me was a post asking what the hell she was talking about in a thread I wasn't aware had been necro'ed.

It's those serendipitous trolls that are so strangely satisfying, where you didn't mean to do anything, and it all happened anyway. I trolled so stealthily, I was unaware of it myself.
 
If I start defending people here at other boards, you know the admin has made a big cock up.
 
It was an excellent troll and I got nabbed by it. There is and was no doubt in my mind that it was deliberate. I don't know besides Yo who, if anyone, was in on it, but it was deliberate. Accident my ass.

I don't take the online trolling personally, Number_6, even if it temporarily annoys me at the time, or else would I be hanging out here? Most times, it's all part of the "fun and games" of online and it doesn't mean anything I know, anymore than me "hating" someone online does (One would have to really know someone IRL to develop hate for them.)

The troll HAS made me more careful. In some ways, that is bad for you all as I'm a tad more paranoid and y'all already knew I was paranoid enough. :P
 
It wasn't deliberate, as I remember. Yo had been gone from this board for a year or so and had just returned. He bumped some old threads he'd missed first time around. I remember defending 6 in QSF too bUT GAGH GET'S ALL THE FUCKING CREDITLIASDNtg

Come on man. A year to the day and it was an "accident"? You truly believe that?

If so, I have some prime swampland down here for you, just to the west of me. Don't mind the gators, they're friendly critters. :P
 
Knowing 6's poor memory ;) , and sometimes failure to look at the little details (c'mon, a date whose only difference was the year? Even I thought it was recent. :roll: ) I am 100% certain he was genuine in his actions. No trolling was intended, at least on his part.

Deliberate bump - maybe (though like Wacky I'm 100% certain it wasn't), but you were the one who went off the deep end. Instead of moaning about trolls, focus more on the fact that you made a deep error in judgment based on your own lack of observational skills.

However, bumping a thread is not trolling. You should know better than that by now.

Not arguing that I overreacted. But it was a deliberate troll. And who the fuck looks at the YEAR of a post? If you see the month/day (if you notice that), who looks at the year? :P

It sounds like your second and third sentences totally invalidate your first.

Your first states that you believe it was deliberate, yet your second gives the hypothesis of it being an honest mistake on 6's part considerable credence.

Hmm...interesting.
 
And considering that I've been writing "1996" on things since January, it's not hard to believe I missed the date.
