If you don't know, now ya know
Ohhh...yessss...I got my new, blue, MacGregor MacTec NVG driver today. It's fucking beautiful. I'll take some pictures tonight and post them here tomorrow. The head is deep blue, the face is silver with an electric blue insert, the shaft is electric blue, and the headcover is blue and black. It's fucking lush. I have no doubt I'll be calling it "The Blue Bomber" after I attack the course this weekend.

Here's the bummer part: I can't use the damn thing until tomorrow, as I have to work tonight! ARGH!!!

Wait'll you guys see pics. It'll knock your socks off!

...and besides, my wife doesn't know I've bought a new driver yet...gulp...

Oh. My. God. This fucking driver ROCKS! I easily added 30 yards to my drives! Any halfway decent hit is rewarded with a high, straight, loooong drive. I can't wait to get this thing on the course this weekend!!
 
Sweet!! Talk about an awesome club, the thing is art itself!!! The subtle angles cut into the head to facilitate air flow around the club during the stroke really help out.

I told you that was the driver for you. :)
 
When you slightly mis-hit, the driver sounds exactly like a well-struck aluminum baseball bat.

When you hit the sweet spot, or the hot spot, however, the damn thing sounds like throwing dishes against a brick wall! It's loud and obnoxious and everybody stares at ya because they know you just punished that poor, defenseless ball! AWESOME.

Yes, I have hairy fingers...but thank God my back, neck, and shoulders are completely hairless!
