Mexico vs. France

Sure thing...I will watch and report back here.

They're not playing it here in the U.S. either but I have international satellite and am able to get a few Mexican stations. w00t!!

PS. Apparently 1:30 pm Mexico time is 2:30pm Eastern U.S. time.
 
Mexico 0 France 1

France scored 1 goal with 1/2 minute to go in the 1st half.

The Mexicans look very tentative and don't seem to be used to playing together as a team. The French squad looks in shape and is chock-full of talent with players like Trezequet, Cisse, Zidane, Thierry Henry and others.
 
Yeah, Barthez was the starter goalie. He didn't get to work very hard today as the Mexicans decided to play piss poor football.
 
Well up to three weeks ago the Germans were still undecided about keeping the goalie who looks like a blonde gorilla in, - what the hell's his name - it escapes me at the mo -
Anyway, Barthez is always entertaining. And I like it when they rub his bald head for luck.

Oliver Kahn. It just came back to me.

And I meant no slight about the guy, btw...that's what he looks like, issall.
I thought he was very gracious actually when they announced Lehmann (who's had a brilliant season) would be starting Keeper for the German side.

Zidane is also bald or is balding. I would put him amongst the players to watch out for.
 
This game should not be played. It is a waste of les temps! France does not deserve to play against Les Mexicain! Do not insult the greatest country in the world by allowing this! As-tu perdu la tete!?

Va te faire foutre, trouduc! Zidane is the best football player the world has ever seen! You just jealous because he is French.
 
France will win World Cup 2006!!! France is in easy division. No other football powers! Switzerland, Israel, Republic of Ireland, Cyprus and Faroe Islands all not football countries. Except mebbe Ireland. France always beat Ireland. Stupid island country. When players kick ball it ends up in Atlantic Ocean. They cant afford another ball so they play football with pumpkins.
