Mick from the Time Team died

Shame.
 
Well the news broke quite late so maybe that's why. Real shame, though. He always came across as really enthusiastic and knowledgable. It's also a shame that he felt pushed out of the show when it got dumbed down. And then cancelled.
 
sad news. and he wasn't exactly geriatric at 66 - I wonder what happened.
 
I saw an advert for a "Time Team special" recently but I don't know if it was filmed before he died.
