Firewall with Harrison Ford
Harrison Ford remains one of my favorite actors. I can't think of a film he's done that I haven't liked. Despite the fact he's looking a bit too old to play the action hero father of two young children, he did an outstanding job here. Kind of a Cliche' computer nerd thriller... bad guys kidnap Ford's family and will kill them unless he transfers bazillions of dollars (ok, 100 million) to their offshore accounts. He is like Macguyver.... finally saving the day with a photo from a cell phone and a beat up laptop. I'm sure the technical stuff is really far fetched, but the story moved along, there was just the right amount of violence and bloodshed and sex was absent.
My "Oh right, gimme a break " moment was when the 8 year old with the severe peanut alergy accepted a cookie from the bad guy holding his family hostage after taking Bad Guy's word for it that there were no nuts in the cookie.
