Can you believe this? Not a single post since Friday the 13th of LAST MONTH!!! And only 3 threads opened in October? What is going on over there anyway?

They've weeded out or driven away all the people of thought, leaving nothing but huggers and ENT weenies?

I actually don't know, I post once every 3 months or so...
 
My opinion...the posters that agree to follow the draconian rules over there are not apt to complain.

All the spirited people are either in greener pastures...or have seen the futility of fighting the system. Notice the locked threads.

Or maybe people are apathetic these days.

Yeah, I kinda think rallying against the TBBS "Man" has had it's day. At least for now. But we'll always have Chrissypoo and the legendary X-Box legend to put a wistful, nostalgic smile on our faces.
 
Also, with the recent GenTrek incident, it's clear that they've mellowed slightly as well...or they're just bored and happy for the traffic.

GenTrek incident? What happened? I must admit, aside from the board being mentioned here I suffer from complete apathy, myself.

But a gal never refuses a chance to dish some gossip. ;)

New MA Guidelines. You aren't allowed to post in there unless you have already PM'd the mod in question. Then you post, the mod posts replies in what is essentially a repeat of their unsatisfactory PM response, two or three TBBS elite come in and spam or mock you without getting warnings, and one of the mods or admins tells you that the mod has responded and the discussion is over and then locks the thread.
 
If you start another one, the same elite mock/flame/spam, T'Bonz comes in and says she's tired of this nonsense and either locks the thread, or locks the thread and permabans you.

I still have an open account there, but I don't think I've visited in almost a month.

Exactly. This is the new wonderful system in place that of course protects nobody but the mods from public scrutiny.

It's just a way of making those who have a problem jump through hoops.
 
No, it cuts the grandstanding. No more fun and games in MA. Works for me, after 6 years on the BBS, my tolerance for retards is nil. Perhaps negative.

Things get settled privately now. And no, not swept under the carpet. Some mod fucks up, trust me, I HEAR ABOUT IT. And not just from posters. ;)

RobL, we don't prune accounts anymore. Pruning long established members was dumb anyhow. Not sure why that was done in the past, but it's in the past.
 
P.S. Based on the past few weeks here, the "people of thought" sure didn't end up here. Jesus H, the spam is so bad it's not worth the read anymore. Someone should put a bullet through TK's head.
