We've already discussed this at the time The Last Samurai came out.

The Last Samurai was just on AMC. Never seen it before, and I didn't think I liked it.

I was wrong.

Who the fuck cares that it's the same as Dances with Wolves? It's got blood and samurais!

Samurais, yes. Ninjas, no. Therefore, The Last Samurai = crap.

I liked it, despite my hatred for Tom Cruise...as for Dances of Wolves, the last time I saw that movie was over 10 years ago. And Kevin Costner can't make a decent movie that doesn't involve baseball. So I was probably less than impressed.

DWW was an ok movie. My problem is that there needed to be less movie. It goes on and on and on and on...

All I cared about when I saw DWW was that I wanted to have some savage sex with Wind in his Hair.
